Reporting impersonation accounts

Impersonation is portraying another person in a deceptive or confusing manner and it violates the rules of the platform. Individuals violating this rule may be permanently suspended from using the platform.

What is allowed under this policy? 

• Same or similar usernames but no other information is the same
• The profile specifies there’s no affiliation with any individuals or brands with the same name

How to report an impersonation?

You can report an account impersonation in two ways:

1. Contacting Support and filing an impersonation report.
2. Doing it directly on the account profile.

The support team will run an investigation on the report to determine if there’s a violation. If an account is determined to violate the impersonation policy, it will be suspended.

Company impersonation or trademarked brands

Businesses and companies should report any accounts misusing their trademarks or brands. Steps to report this violation include contacting the Support Team in order to begin processing a report and gathering the appropriate information.
